Echo360 recordings

Echo360 recordings are managed through the MyUNSW Academic Admin tab. They are tied to class scheduling and happen automatically for any class scheduled in an Echo360 enabled room. The academic assigned as the lecturer to the scheduled class will have access to the recordings. The recordings only have the presenters desktop and their audio captured via the microphone in the room.

There are also two video recording kits that the Engineering Faculty IT section can make available to staff for recording lectures. These kits capture both the desktop presentation and the video recording of the lecturer, but do require two people to run them. These are typically 2 TA’s that have trained in advance.

If anyone is interested in using these it’s best to request and plan these well in advance.
