Several locations in CSE are covered by security camera surveillance.

These areas are:

• J17 - Mechanical Engineering labs: Leaf, Spoons, Moog, Bell
• K17 - Eatery labs: Pipe, Bugle
• K17 - labs: Banjo, Oud, CHI, Lyre
• K17 - Basement
• K17 - System Support: Rm-111
• K14 - Old Main Building labs: Piano, Organ, Clavier
• G17 - Electrical Engineering: Guan, Sanhu/Erhu, Mabu

Cameras are clearly visible upon entering CSE laboratories. Signage has been erected in all areas where a camera has been installed.

In addition, there are UNSW Security Help Points in the following locations:

• Mechanical Engineering foyer, outside the CSE Help Desk.
• Mechanical Engineering Eatery Foyer, outside Pipe and Bugle labs.
• K17 Ground Floor Foyer.

These Help Points are fitted with cameras which are monitored by Security while in use.
