Getting to your CSE home directory remotely

You can move files between your CSE account and your own computer via the internet, using SFTP.

You don't need to be on campus or connected to a VPN; it should work from anywhere.

For Mac or Windows users, we recommend using SSHFS or Cyberduck.

For Ubuntu users, SFTP support is built into the file browser - just type sftp://your-zid@login.cse.unsw.edu.au into the address bar.
