Changing the toner in Xerox multifunction printers
Introduction
The Xerox multifnction devices will display two messages indicatig the amount of toner present in the device.- 'Toner Cartridge needs to be replaced' - indicates there are approximately 1000 pages left in the toner.
- 'Replace the Toner Cartridge' - needs no further explanation.

Proceedure
- Make sure that the machine is not in use before opening the front cover.
- Hold the bottom of the toner cartridge and slide it out of the machine.
- Hold the toner cartridge by its handle and pull it out slowly. (be gentle)
- Remove the new toner cartridge out of the box and shake it from side to side before removing it out of the bag.
- Hold the toner cartridge by its handle and slide it into the machine until it clicks in.
- Close the front cover.
- Place the used toner cartridge into the empty box and bring it to room 111 for recycling.
Notes
- Each toner cartridge has a capacity of approximately 30000 pages at 5% coverage.
